Activity 2- Task Definition
Sometimes figuring out what you really need to know is the hardest part of finding solutions for problems. I liked the cell phone scenario because it is so practical, questions that almost everyone has.
The scenario I will chose to use through the rest of the activities is about the health impacts of buying organic food. I choose this because after reading and hearing research, my family has recently started buying organic milk. Organic milk costs twice as much as regular milk. Every time I buy groceries, I wonder if a cost benefit analysis would actually show that paying double is worth the health benefits, and now I can find out for sure. I have heard that an organic label doesn’t really guarantee anything, this is something I definitely need to be better informed about.
